HEALTHCARE EDUCATIONAL TRAINING PROJECT

Training is essential for development, as it gives the opportunity for social progress. For this reason, we started the Healthcare Educational Training Project, with main aim of creating a permanent unit allowing the population to have continuous ophthalmic assistance provided by the local healthcare workers.

The implementation of the first system of Ophthalmic Telemedicine in the area has contributed in a decisive way to this professional training, since all the pathologies encountered are dealt with, assisted by the doctors of VISSUM Corporation in Spain, who advise and treat the cases in real time. This method allows us to continue with the professional training, based on real cases, increasing the motivation of the personnel involved and correcting from the start all those pathologies that without the right treatment could lead to an unavoidable blindness.
